Introducing Roger That Communications!

We’ve taken the leap and started a new venture called Roger That Communications!

We help companies create their positioning, messaging, and story to better connect with their audiences.

With PR agency experience and being on the client-side and partnering closely with agencies, we’ve come to value three things most when working with comms teams:

💡 Senior guidance

An experienced comms leader that remained involved in the day-to-day after winning the account and continually stayed smart on my business was an invaluable thought partner.

💡 Strategic thinkers and doers

Strategy was critical, but so was execution, writing, and rolling up sleeves to do all the little things that lead to great comms outcomes - no task was too small.

💡 Team empathy

Shared experiences created a two-way street of clear expectations about supporting each other and getting the work done (I had been on the agency-side, and they had been on mine).

Roger That is all these things. You get a senior comms leader that is all-in on your business. You not only get a strategic thinker, but also a strategic doer that loves the work, creating story, and writing. The big outcome matters but so do all the little things to achieve it – we’ve been in your chair, so if it’s important to you it’s important to me.

For many companies, the PR agency model works. But for many others that have small budgets, the same big needs, and are looking for deep domain expertise and a senior comms leader that’s with you every step of the way, Roger That is for you.

We’ve gotten off the ground with a couple projects but are expanding to work with more clients. Roger That specializes in a range of services – from PR and exec comms to thought leadership and content marketing and everything else in between.

We’d love to partner with you and help. We’ll have much more to share about Roger That in the coming weeks and months, including the thinking that went into the name and new branding. Until then, we’d love to hear from you!
